Scott Simmons

Co-Managing Partner

Scott W. Simmons is Co-Managing Partner of Crist|Kolder Associates, where he leads senior financial officer, operating officer, and Board of Director searches for clients across a diverse set of industries. He began his executive search career in 1998.

Scott serves a variety of clients, both public and private. His client list includes exceptional companies such as Marathon Petroleum, Elevance Health, Allstate, Franklin Electric, Gibraltar Industries, ManpowerGroup, Valmont Industries, Fulton Financial, CNH Industrial, and WSFS. He also works with several PE firms to recruit C-Level talent into their portfolio companies.

Prior to helping launch Crist|Kolder in January 2003, Scott was with Korn/Ferry International for three years. During his time with Korn/Ferry, he assisted with the execution of senior level searches, while also serving as Knowledge Manager for the Global Board Services Practice.

Scott joined Korn/Ferry by way of its acquisition of Crist Partners, a high-end boutique focused on conducting a limited number of C-Suite and Board searches for companies across the country. He began his career with Rand McNally & Company.

Scott serves on the Board of Metropolitan Family Services, which has been empowering families in the Chicago area since 1857. He has been a guest speaker on the topic of CFO career planning and executive search through programs at the University of Chicago Booth School of Business and Deloitte University. Scott graduated with Honors from Northern Illinois University, having received a Bachelor of Arts degree in English.
